Since Denton became a city in 1866, a lot of history and mystery has surrounded the old Denton Courthouse on the square.
That is where the Ghosts of Denton tour begins every Friday and Saturday night. Folks gather at the Jupiter Coffee House to begin the tour around sunset.
"I just think they are tapping us on the shoulder saying...don't forget me" said Shelly Turner of the Ghosts of Denton Haunted History tours.
Shelly has been a full time story teller for over 30 years now and been conducting ghost tours for the last 3 years in Denton.
