Getting The Poop On The Race For President
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A Fort Worth company is making it easier for voters to get the latest poop on the race for the White House - quite literally.
Therapoo, which launched just last month, sells designer doggy-poo bags, including ones with images of the candidates for president. There are also bags for for the Democratic Party and the Republican Party.
"Just in time to cast your vote and your dog, too," the company says in a news release. "The entrepreneurs .... at Therapoo fancy themselves as your poo-litical action committee with a new smear campaign so get ready for the mud slinging."
The bags are biodegradable and cost just under $20 for a 100-count order.
The company also offers bags with the images of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Products featuring celebrities and sports teams will be offered soon.
Comments on the company's Facebook page have been generally positive, but no word on how well sales are going.
