DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Broken glass and a shattered sense of security in an Oak Cliff neighborhood after several drivers walked out to discover someone had broken the rear windows of their vehicles with a large rock or brick

At least five different people in the same neighborhood on the same day reported that someone had vandalized their cars near the Bishop Arts District.

"I don't get it. I really don't get it. I don't understand," said Daniel Quintana, whose BMW was damaged on Friday.

A nearby home surveillance camera captured the moment showing what appears to be a red, Ford Explorer driving by at the moment the window is shattered.

"Being that I can't park in front for just the 15 minutes I was there and something happens the one time I decide to do it is kind of scary," said Quintana.

But as he began to cruise down West 8th Street, Quintana noticed he was not alone. Quintana knows of at least five different victims but said there could be more who never bothered to notify police.

"It makes me wonder how they're able to get away with something like that at 12:30 in the afternoon. You know lunch time, Bishop Arts, it's super crowded," said Quintana.

Dallas Police said it is investigating and detectives are hoping the video will be useful in identifying suspects.
