Garland Breaks Ground For City's First Dog Park
GARLAND (CBSDFW.COM) — The city of Garland broke ground for the city's first dog park Thursday.
The 1.3 million dollar dog park is located at the former Texas Air National Guard Armory site at Glenbrook Drive and 9th Street. The dog park will be 3 acres and will have three fenced dog areas to allow all dogs to roam off-leash.
There will also be drinking fountains, shaded seating areas and lighting.
It is expected to be ready in January.
