GameStop Having A Good 2010

The holiday season almost always involves a new must-have gaming system or mega-hit video game, and for GameStop, that will bring some holiday cheer.

So far for 2010, the third quarter was a good one for the Grapevine-based retailer, but earnings were not as good as expected.

Chairman of the Board Dan DeMatteo says although earnings rose, revenue came in below expectations because of weak sales in international markets.

He says sports games are still doing quite well, and are keeping GameStop profiting.
