FWISD Teacher Assistant Arrested For Sexual Assault Of Child
FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) – A Fort Worth Independent School District teacher's assistant was arrested last week for sexual assault of a child, police said Tuesday.
Moises Castellon, 23, is accused of performing a sexual act on a 15-year-old boy in the parking lot of Richland Hills Middle School, Richland Hills Police spokesman Tye Bell said.
Castellon met the boy in an online chat room and arranged to meet the teen in the parking lot, Bell said.
A police warrant says Castellon told the boy he was 17-years-old. He's accused of performing oral sex on the 15-year-old in his black Toyota Corolla.
The warrant also adds that the two attempted to meet up again on Jan. 17. According to the document, the boy had his mother drop him off at a parking lot, but she returned.
The warrant says Castellon sped away after learning the boy's mother was nearby. The two did not have further contact.
Police were alerted to the incident on April 3 when the boy checked in to Cooks Children's Hospital in Hurst.
Castellon was arrested following an investigation on Friday at his Fort Worth home.
The school district immediately placed Castellon on leave. Bell did not say which school Castellon worked at, but said the victim was not a Fort Worth ISD student.
Castellon currently out of jail on $100,000 bond.
