FORT WORTH (CBS11) - The family of Typhenie Johnson, 25, is frustrated they still do not have any answers from investigators after she went missing nearly seven weeks ago.
Fort Worth Police said Johnson was last seen with her ex-boyfriend, Chris Revill, at her apartment complex on October 10.
Investigators have since arrested Revill and charged him with kidnapping.
"It's been a living hell," said Deborah Johnson Strub, the missing woman's mother. "Someone has to know. You just don't disappear."
Thursday will make the first time in 25 years Johnson Strub will be without her daughter for Thanksgiving.
"We just need her home," said Johnson Strub, as she brushed tears away. "When you're at Thanksgiving tomorrow and you look at your family you have, imagine your child not being there."
It is a reality she struggles with as each minute ticks by with zero new clues.
"I think she's been lost in the shuffle from day one," said Johnson Strub.
While she appreciates all of the volunteers who continue to search, Strub says she is a little frustrated with investigators and the lack of any answers.
"I feel that they're sitting waiting for evidence or new leads to come drop on in front of them," said Johnson Strub.
She also know she is not the only family suffering with a missing child.
"I realize that there are so many missing, Amber alerts, missing people that are down here," said Johnson Strub. "But as the mother, Typhenie's always going to be the priority."
To those in the community who have even the smallest bit of information tucked away in their minds, Johnson Strub hopes they are listening.
"I'd pray to God that they'd come forward and say something, but until that happens I feel that we're on our own to find her," said Johnson Strub.
Fort Worth Police said there is no update on the case.
