FRISCO (CBSDFW) - A Frisco man is now locked up and the woman he held hostage overnight is okay.
According to reports, around 7:00pm Tuesday, Frisco police got word of a problem at an apartment complex on Parkwood Boulevard near Stonebriar Center mall.
On arrival, Police found a man, later identified as 32-year-old Fredrich Henry, holding a woman hostage inside an apartment.
The SWAT team was called in and surrounded the building, which was evacuated as a precaution.
More than six hours later, the woman was released unhurt. It took another hour to talk Henry into giving up.
Henry was arrested and transported to jail, partly because of the hostage-taking and partly due to an outstanding warrant for something unrelated.
