Frisco Homeowner Accused Of Yelling Obscenities At Noisy Daycare

FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM) - Bad blood between homeowners and a day care center may have reached a breaking point.

Now there are allegations against a Frisco woman for allegedly going ballistic over a noisy playground.

Only an alley and a brick wall separate Kids R Kids Learning Academy's playground from a neighborhood.

There have been complaints from both sides and now allegations that one homeowner went too far.

Parents picked up their kids still angry about what happened.

"It just doesn't make sense to me," says Frisco Resident Layton Perry.

The playground was full at the Kids R Kids Learning Academy Wednesday afternoon when teachers say an irate homeowner confronted them about noise.

In a letter to parents, the school says the homeowner

"Flashed a green rifle case and started yelling obscenities."

"More than ridiculous it's psycho. Me being in the mental health field that seems a bit psychotic," says Frisco resident Chris Key

The school says teachers rushed the children inside and called police.

The accused homeowner has not been arrested and is not speaking about the alleged incident.

A neighbor, who did not want to be identified, defended the homeowner, saying it's just another false or exaggerated allegation in an ongoing battle over noise between the school and nearby residents.

"The homeowner was out there with the noise level reader and they called the police on him accusing him of videotaping the kids," says the accused's neighbor.

But whether the homeowner actually had a gun offers little comfort to parents don't want their children caught in the middle of the noise dispute.

"Though they say it's just a shotgun case, it's a case this time what's it going to be next time," says concerned parent Chris Key. "That's the thing that bothers me."

Frisco police have not commented about what they believe happened out here.

Some parents claim there is video of the incident, which could help determine who is telling the truth.
