Frisco Hack
Two Frisco residents claim they were victims of a new kind of cyber crime.
Adam Henderson, with Frisco police, says the victims reported that someone had hacked into their email accounts, sent out emails to everyone in their contacts lists, and claimed they were traveling, and had been robbed. Police say the suspects also requested that their friends wire them money. Fortunately friends who received the emails were suspicious, and didn't send the money. Police says it's a reminder for people to use secure usernames and passwords, and be cautious of the sites they visit.
