DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - Sources are telling 105.3 The Fan that free agent running back Robert Turbin will sign with the Dallas Cowboys.
Turbin (5'10", 222lbs) was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 2012 out of Utah State.
Turbin's 1,517 rushing yards during his final season at Utah State ranked 10th among NCAA Division 1 FBS players.
Playing as a backup to Marshawn Lynch, Turbin ran for 354 yards on 81 carries in his rookie season.
After sustaining an ankle injury during the 2015 preseason, Turbin was waived by Seattle in September. He was claimed off waivers by the Cleveland Browns in September and was waived again on November 10.
