4-Vehicle Crash Kills 2 People In Fort Worth
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - An adult and a child were killed early Monday morning in a four-vehicle crash that injured two other people on Fort Worth's west side, police said. The deadly crash was first reported just after 1:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Loop 820, close to White Settlement Road.
Police said that the crash happened as one vehicle became disabled and was then struck by other vehicles.
MedStar EMS said that two people were killed, one adult and one child. Two other people were transported to the hospital -- a woman who was in extremely critical condition and another child whose condition is not known. There has been no word on the names of any of those victims.
The crash created a major traffic headache for commuters on Monday morning, as police closed all lanes of the freeway northbound from Interstate-30, including the ramps leading to Loop 820.
