Four Shootings, Five Victims, One Person Dead After Violent Night In Dallas

DALLAS (CBSDFW) - One person is dead after a violent night in Dallas that had police working at four different shootings in south Dallas.

According to Dallas Police, the first shooting happened around 10:30 Sunday night at a home on Galicia Lane in Southeast Dallas where one person died.

Thirty minutes later, around 11:00 pm, just five miles away, two people were shot outside a Pleasant Grove convenience store at Bruton Road and Saint Augustine.

The victims were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover.

A third shooting occurred just before midnight on Kittyhawk Lane in Pleasant Grove that left one person wounded, and according to police his injuries are not life-threatening.

Shots rang out at another Pleasant Grove apartment complex just after midnight on North Masters Road. That incident left one victim wounded. He's also expected to recover.

At this time investigators believe at least two of the shootings are related.
