Fort Worth Woman Still Missing After One Week

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - The search for missing woman Typhenie Johnson continues Monday, exactly one week after she vanished. And her ex-boyfriend is still not cooperating with Fort Worth investigators. Johnson's family members and police officers are continuing a ground search in hopes of finding clues.
Johnson was last seen a week ago, leaving her apartment complex to tell ex-boyfriend Christopher Revill that the relationship was over. Revill has been identified as the prime suspect in this case. He remains in jail on Monday, charged with kidnapping the 25-year-old woman.
People have come forward saying that Revill may also be linked to the disappearance of another girlfriend a decade ago. That victim's sister said that the details of this latest case sound eerily similar.
Detectives are looking at cell phone data for clues about Johnson's location. They are also investigating pieces of clothing that were found by volunteers on Sunday near Lake Arlington. The clothes may belong to Revill. These leads are determining what areas police prioritize on Monday in their search efforts.
The Fort Worth Police Department has said that no more volunteers are needed at this time, but those who wish to help in the search effort can monitor the department's social media accounts. That is where detectives will announce what citizens can do to be the most helpful.
The victim's family members are grateful to those who have already helped in the search. "Everybody has a family," said Asher Johnson, the woman's twin brother, "so just knowing the fact that one family member is missing out of the community, that kind of affects everybody in the community."
The brother also had strong words for Revill over the weekend, pleading with him to speak up. "As of right now, you're lying to me, man," Johnson added. "Just come truthful with yourself and with me and my family. Everybody's born with a heart, it just depends on how you decide you want to use it. And it's never too late to change that."
