Officials said the man was shooting off rounds about every 20 minutes and as a precaution they evacuated people from surrounding trailers.

Just before 7:00 a.m. crews being kept a short distance from the park heard the sound of several flash-bang grenades. Police later confirmed that SWAT had thrown gas bombs in the trailer. The male came out still armed with a gun, but complied with officers orders and put it down.

By 7:20 a.m. the man, whose name has not been released, was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital to be treated for a cut on his leg. No one else was injured during the incident.

The Fort Worth Fire Department bomb squad was called to the scene after the SWAT team went into the mobile home and found several firearms and pipe bomb making materials.
