Fort Worth Police Searching For Suspected Serial Bank Robber
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) -- Fort Worth Police are looking for a woman believed to be responsible for at least two bank robberies over the past few weeks.
The latest robbery occurred at the Comerica Bank located at 4351 Western Center Boulevard around 12:50 p.m. on Feb. 2.
According to police, the woman walked into the bank and presented a note demanding cash. She also told the teller that a bomb was outside the building.
The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and left the location.
Police believe the same woman is responsible for another bank robbery that occurred on Jan. 30 in the surrounding area.
The suspect is described as a white female, roughly 30-years-old and standing 5-foot-8 and 140 pounds. Authorities believe the suspect has worn different wigs, sunglasses, dresses and high heels during each robbery.
No details were provided about an additional suspect, who is believed to have served as the driver.
The escape vehicle is described only as a small, black four-door car with gold trim.
