Fort Worth Police Say Attempted Abduction Story Was Made Up

Officials with the Fort Worth Police Department say the girl has recanted her abduction story. They say the story was made up. There was no attempted abduction.
FORT WORTH, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - Fort Worth police are looking for a man they say tried to abduct a girl who fought back.
According to Fort Worth Police, the 12-year old girl was riding her biycle in the 1700 block of Ederavil Road early Monday.
She told police a man in a dark green pickup pulled up behind her, grabbed her from behind around the waist and covered her mouth - pulling her from her bicycle.
She says she elbowed her abductor causing him to let her go, she then grabbed a stick and hit him in the leg. She then ran home.
Police say the attacker was identified as a black male in his mid-thirties, skinny, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
