Fort Worth Police Beating Settled (Video)

A man who was beaten by a Fort Worth police officer in 2008 isn't happy about the city's financial settlement in the case.  Video shows a cop slamming Carey Cass Hudson to the ground at the police station after arresting him on DWI. Hudson broke his nose and says he has permanent brain damage. The case went to court, but last night the Fort Worth City Council announced it's settling for 120 thousand dollars... in spite of Hudson's mother's plea not to. Rita Hudson says Her son never signed the settlement, and that it's not enough to cover the hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills. Hudson says his mother was forced to sign the agreement. The officer was given a written reprimand and requred to get anger-management counseling. The DWI charges were eventually dropped. Click here to watch the video.
