Fort Worth Fatal Hit-And-Run Driver Still Sought

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – The Fort Worth Police Department is again asking for the public's help finding the driver responsible for killing a 26-year-old man and fleeing the scene.

Fort Worth Police spokesman Officer Clifton Miller said the pedestrian was walking southbound on the outside shoulder of U.S. 287. He was hit as he walked near the onramp from South Riverside Drive at 3:35 a.m. Sunday.

The man died at the scene.

Miller said the driver's vehicle is a Red Infiniti G35 or G37. The two-door coupe suffered damage to its front. A large chunk of the column that holds the windshield and side-view passenger mirror is also missing.

The driver's car also had temporary tags.
