Former President George W. Bush, along with former First Lady Laura Bush, did the coin toss before the New York Giants-Dallas Cowboys game in remembrance of the September 11th anniversary attack during which he served as President.

The Cowboys invited and honored first responders from across North Texas to the game on Sunday and joined them on the field for the unveiling of the US flag and the National Anthem.

A special tribute was also dedicated to the families of the fallen Dallas Police officers from the July sniper attack in downtown Dallas.

There was also a touching video featuring President Bush with images of 9/11, the aftermath of the attack and scenes of first responders, members of the US military and citizens coming together.

After tossing the coin, Bush grabbed the FDNY cap off the head of New York linebacker Zak DeOssie.

The crowd roared when the giant video board over the center of the field showed Bush saluting the crowd with the hat and putting it back on.

Then he whistled at DeOssie to get his attention and give him the hat back.
