Former Cowboy Sensabaugh: 'Our Advantage Was Better Playing Away'
DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) -- AT&T Stadium was sold out for the Cowboys home opener on Sunday against the 49ers. But the debate rages on as to how many fans were wearing red.
Former Cowboys safety Gerald Sensabaugh was very critical of the Cowboys "home" crowd on Sunday. Sensabaugh joined Shan & RJ on 105.3 The Fan and revealed that the 49ers fan invasion was no fluke.
"It's by far no where near a home-field advantage playing there when they bring so many fans," said Sensabaugh, recalling similar situations when Chicago and Pittsburgh came to town.

"I thought that our advantage was better playing away. Even at an Eagles game, you would see so many Cowboys fans."
Sensabaugh recalls playing games in New Orleans, when communicating on offense was impossible due to crowd noise.
Though he admits that Cowboys fans travel very well, it's simply a different environment when the team plays in front of its home crowd in Arlington.
"It's just the home crowd; it's a totally different group of people."
