Former Children's Medical Employee Going To Prison For Child Porn
A North Texas Man who worked at Children's Medical Center of Dallas, is going to prison for nearly 18 years for receiving child porn.
27-year-old Jason Watkins of Grand Prairie was at Children's for five years but hasn't worked there since his arrest last year. Hospital spokeswoman Laurie Holloway says the safety of their patients is very important. She says the hospital performs annual background checks on all employees and Watkins did not have any criminal history. She says he worked in an administrative role.
The Dallas Police Department received a "CyberTip" that Watkins had been having conversations on MySpace about molesting a young girl. Investigators found hundreds of pictures and videos of child porn on Watkins' computer.
