Forget Romance: Many Trying To Catch Partners Cheating On Valentine's Day

DALLAS (CBS11) - Suspicious spouses are dealing out the dough this Valentine's Day as they try to catch their loved ones cheating in the act.
"Chocolates, flowers, things like that. Yeah there's a whole other side that doesn't get reported on at all," said Allen Walton, owner of Spy Guy Security.
Walton, who lives and operates in Dallas, is the man many are turning to for the most romantic day on the calendar. He does not catch the suspected cheaters, but helps sell and provide the gadgets.
"If they're seeing someone on the side, they're going to have to celebrate with both people. Increasing the odds of getting caught," said Walton. "It's bigger than Cyber Monday for us. It's bigger than Black Friday."
In just the last few weeks, Walton said his sales have jumped at least 30%.
He is selling anything from hidden cameras that look like wall chargers, to USB jump drives that record conversations. Even magnetic GPS trackers are up for grabs on his website.
"All of them are relieved. It's like their suspicions have been confirmed. A huge weight has been lifted off their shoulders," said Walton.
It means heartache for some and headaches for other.
Walton said it really is none of his business why folks are buying his products, except…it kind of is his business.
"I mean I take no pleasure it other people's misfortunes or anything like that. But these products exist to help get answers to problems they have," said Walton
His shop is only available online to help keep customers confidential.
