Flight Attendant Takes Baby After Mother Slaps Child
A Southwest Airlines flight attendant took a baby from her parents after the mother slapped her child. It happened on a flight from Dallas to Albuquerque. The flight attendant says she acted after seeing the mother slap the 13-month old girl and passengers complained. An Albuquerque airport spokesman says paramedics checked the baby and police returned the toddler to her parents--who were not cited.
Airport police say the attendant's decision to hold the child neutralized the situation on the Monday flight.
