Firefighter And Police Officer Still In Hospital

The families of a Ft. Worth firefighter and police officer are waiting for signs of improvement in their conditions.
Firefighter Mark Puentes is in critical condition after his car was hit by a man in a stolen vehicle over the weekend.
Police officer Richard Lambing is also in critical condition after his patrol car slammed into a tree last week during a high speed chase.
Ft. Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief says Puentes and Lambing are in rooms across the hall from each other at JPS and their families had lunch together for the first time Tuesday.
