Fire Out At Downtown Dallas Hotel
Updated at 5:19 p.m: The Dallas Fire Department has confirmed that the fire is out and that one person has been taken to the hospital for a burn injury. According to hotel management the hotel will not reopen on Saturday due to a lack of power.
Updated at 4:18 p.m: CBS 11 New's Bud Gillet reports that at least one person has been injured. The fire was in the hotel's third floor stairwell and the hotel has been evacuated.
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas Fire Department is responding to a three alarm fire at a hotel in downtown Dallas.
Smoke had reportedly been seen coming from the roof of the Crown Plaza Hotel Elm Street.
Hotel guests told CBS 11 News the building's halls were flooded with smoke.
An official report has not been released yet.
