Feds: Mesquite Man Admits To Having 120 GB Of Child Porn
NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A federal prison sentence for a Mesquite man means years behind bars and a lifetime of supervision after he is released.
In January Jonathan Ryan Vittitow pled guilty to advertising child pornography on the internet. Today he was sentenced to 17 ½ years in prison.
Authorities discovered that Vittitow used file-sharing computer software to look for and provide child pornography videos of boys age six and under, as well as pornography of minor girls and other children.
When authorities confiscated Vittitow's computer they found it contained some 20,000 images and videos, most of child pornography. When authorizes questioned him about it Vittitow reportedly admitted that he had collected 120 gigabytes of child pornography.
After Vittitow serves his sentence he will be under 'supervised release' for the rest of his life.
