FC Dallas Signs Colombian Midfielder Daniel Cruz
FRISCO (AP) FC Dallas has signed Colombian midfielder Daniel Cruz.
The 30-year-old Cruz has spent most of his professional career with Germinal Beerschot in the Belgian Pro League. He has 12 goals in more than 150 appearances since 2003 and was captain on the 2005 team that won the 2005 Belgian Cup.
Cruz played for Ajax before going to Belgium. He was discovered in Cali, Colombia, by an Ajax scout when he was 17.
