Fatal Fort Worth Crash Investigated As DWI
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) -- One man was killed and another critically injured in a two-vehicle accident on State Highway 360 early Friday morning.
The crash occurred around 2:15 a.m. along the southbound lanes of 360 on the ramp heading to eastbound 183.
A four-door Chrysler was attempting to head eastbound on 183 when it lost control, hit an embankment and hit a Camry traveling closely behind.
Police say a passenger in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.The driver of that vehicle was taken by CareFlite to Parkland Hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken into custody on suspicion of DWI.
Police also believe that speed was a factor in the crash.
The ramp was reopened around 6:15 a.m.
