Fatal Crash In Collin County; One Dead
ANNA (CBSDFW.COM) - One person is dead after a crash at state Highway 121 and Farm-to-Market Road 455 in Collin County, according to the Anna Police Department.
This is the second fatal crash at this location in ten days.
Highway 121 was shut down after the collision, according to Anna Chief of Police Kenny Jenks, at FM 455 to the north and Collin County Outer Loop Road to the South.
Police say the section of SH 121 within city limits (between County Road 1220 and FM 2862) has its share of crashes due to people driving at high speeds. Also, heavy traffic contributes to the number of injury accidents on the two lane highway.
Drivers should avoid that area if possible or take an alternate route.
