Farrah Fawcett's Texas Childhood Home For Sale

CORPUS CHRISTI (AP) - A South Texas house where actress Farrah Fawcett lived as a teenager has been put on the market for $215,000.

The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Corpus Christi was built in 1962.

The Corpus Christi Caller-Times reported Thursday that records show the Fawcett family purchased the new ranch-style home for $19,000. The family moved in when the Corpus Christi native and future actress was in high school. Her parents owned the house until 1966.

Fawcett attended the University of Texas in Austin. She went on to become a 1970s sex symbol and TV star of "Charlie's Angels." Fawcett died in 2009 in California after a battle with cancer.

The current homeowner did not immediately comment on the listing.
