Eye On Traffic: March 31 - April 6

The Dallas Mavs are about to launch a stretch at home. They're playing at the American Airlines Center on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The Dallas Stars will play their last two home games this season on Tuesday and next Saturday, so expect to see traffic around the AAC nightly.
The Interstate-635 eastbound left lane will be closed between Midway and Welch from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. until April 5.
Alternating lanes will be closed on Highway 75 north and southbound from Eldorado to White Street from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
They are still closing various lanes nightly on Woodall Rogers between Pearl and St. Paul for work on the deck park. Those close at 9:00 p.m. and re-open around 6:00 a.m.

TARRANT COUNTY & DENTON COUNTY

Westbound Highway 183 at Highway 121 off ramp is closed due to construction. A new direct connect ramp is being built. Central on ramp is closed due to ongoing construction -- through late 2012. Detour: Bedford Road on ramp. Bedford Road off ramp is closed due to construction.
Eastbound Highway 183 Airport Freeway: Central on ramp is closed due to construction at Murphy/Euless Westpark Way off ramp is closed due to construction.
Northbound Interstate-35W at Meacham on ramp is closed due to construction. Detour: Motorists directed to use the Papurt on ramp.
Now through spring 2013: SH 183/Southwest Boulevard reduced to one lane. SH 183 from Crosslands Road to Hulen Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction for the reconstruction and lowering of the SH 183 main lanes by approx. 40 feet. Initially, there will be no changes in exit and entrance ramps as they are currently configured. Northbound Hulen Street traffic is diverted onto the southbound lanes of Hulen Street at Bridgeview Road. The new traffic pattern will be in effect through spring 2013. SH 183 from Crosslands Road to Bryant Irvin Road is now reduced to one lane through 2013 for the construction of connectors to the future SH 121/Chisholm Trail Parkway. This 24-hour-a-day closure will be extended from Bryant Irvin Road to Hulen Street for the reconstruction and the lowering of the SH 183 main lanes by approximately 40 feet.
Now through 2013: Hulen Street closures -- Construction crews closed the northbound lanes of Hulen Street from Stonegate Boulevard to Hulen Place to allow for construction operations. Traffic on northbound Hulen Street is diverted onto the western half of the Hulen Street bridge. This has created one lane of traffic in each direction on the west half of the Hulen Street bridge across the UPRR's Davidson Yard. This closure will remain through 2013. Eastbound I-20 frontage road reduced to one lane between River Ranch Boulevard and Hulen Street. Eastbound SH 183/Southwest Boulevard frontage road reduced to one lane from Bryant Irvin Road to Insurance Avenue. Overton Ridge Parkway reduced to two lanes in each direction from River Ranch Boulevard to Citylake Boulevard.
