Extra Swings For Rangers' Hamilton In New York
ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM)- Josh Hamilton and the Texas Rangers will already be in New York City next week to take on the New York Yankees. So why not have the reigning American League MVP take a few extra swings outside Yankee Stadium?
Hamilton will be a guest on CBS's Late Show With David Letterman on June 16. It will be the slugger's first visit to the show.
While never having been on Letterman, the outfielder did leave a lasting impression on the Big Apple in 2008. That's when he belted a record 28 home runs in the first round of the Home Run Derby during All Star festivities at Yankee Stadium.
Letterman and Hamilton are going to do more than talk during the show. Josh is expected to give a batting demonstration outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater. New Yorkers had better duck.
You can watch the show a week from today, June 16, on CBS 11 at 10:35 PM, following CBS 11 News At 10.
