Excited Fans Greet Rangers Overnight At DFW Airport
Hundreds of Rangers fans stayed up late to greet the team when its charter flight landed at DFW Airport early this morning.
Supporters were there waving signs, blowing horns, flashing claw-and-antler hand signals, snapping photographs and exchanging high-fives and handshakes with the players.
They were returning from New York, leading the American League Championship Series 3 to 2. The Rangers took two-out-of-three at Yankee stadium, with the remaining two games of the ALCS to be played at the Ballpark in Arlington.
Game 6 will be Friday night when the Rangers send 12-game winner Colby Lewis to the mound to face New York's Phil Hughes, a rematch of the Game 2 starters.
