Event Focuses On Crimes Against Children
Crimes against children -- that's the focus of a four-day conference in downtown Dallas this week. The Dallas Police Department and the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center are hosting the event, which brings together more than 3,000 people talking about better ways to protect kids and punish the people who hurt them.
This is the 20th annual conference and is the largest event of its kind in the country. The Dallas Children's Advocacy Center says Internet cyber-bullying and human trafficking are new topics in this year's conference.
The event's being held at the Dallas Sheraton. For more information, click here.
