Euless Junior High Teacher Resigns Over Alleged Relationship With Student

EULESS (KRLD) - A teacher and coach at Euless Junior High resigned after he was confronted by school officials with allegations that he had an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Cornelius Smith was in his first year with the school in HEB ISD. It's not known at this time if the student went to Euless Junior High.

According to the school district, they met with Smith after they were notified by Euless Police of an alleged relationship.

The school made the announcement on their Facebook page Thursday.

There is no word at this time whether Smith faces any charges.
