Euless Firefighters Discover Body After Extinguishing Grass Fire

EULESS (CBSFDW.COM) — Euless firefighters discovered a body while putting out a grass fire Sunday morning.
The discovery happened near Highway 360 and Harwood Road around 11:30 a.m. Investigators have not released details about the body or what may have happened.
Across the street, at the Bear Creek at Harwood Apartments, neighbors watched fire trucks roll in — and then police cars after that.
"This is kind of eerie, you know?" James Black, who lives across the street from where the body was found, said. "Hopefully they can find out what this is all about and what happened, get this solved."
Euless police said they will not be releasing any more information until they hear back from the medical examiner.
