WAXAHACHIE (CBSDFW.COM) - Two teenagers have been arrested after allegedly shooting an Ellis County Sheriff's Deputy with a pellet gun on Monday night. The incident happened around midnight along Ovilla Road, near South Gate Drive, just north of Waxahachie.

According to authorities, the two teenagers were shooting pellets at passing vehicles. One of those passing vehicles just so happened to be the deputy's squad car. Roads in the area were blocked off for a period of time as the teens were taken into custody.
