Elderly Man Dies In Pleasant Grove House Fire
A one-alarm Pleasant Grove house fire took a tragic turn last night when Dallas firefighters found the body of an elderly man in his bedroom. Just before 9 p.m. fire crews found flames shooting out the window of the master bedroom of a home on Elkridge Drive, near Jim Miller and Samuel Boulevard. When firefighters realized someone was inside, they forced their way into the burning home and found the 93-year-old man already dead. Investigators believe the fire began in the bedroom.
