Early Morning Robbery At Gunpoint On SMU Campus
DALLAS, TX (CBSDFW.COM) - An SMU staff member reported being robbed of her purse at gunpoint about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The woman said a white male got out of a dark-colored, two door sedan being driven by a white female with blond hair, near the Bridwell Library and the Owens Art Center near Bishop Boulevard. She said the suspect took her purse and fled in the sedan toward Hillcrest.
The male is described as being in his late 20s, with brown hair, wearing a green do-rag or bandana. The suspect was wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans. No further description was given of the female. The gun was described as a chrome revolver with a medium-size barrel.
