Dwight Howard Says No To Mavs
DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) – Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban tells 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher that the team is out of the running to acquire free agent Dwight Howard.
In an email, Cuban wrote, "Just got word we are out of the Dwight Howard sweepstakes." Cuban went on to say, "We gave it a shot and it didn't work out. It was truly an experience."
Cuban also said in the email he does not know which team Howard will end up with.
Cuban says eventually he will post the video and presentation that the Mavs made to Howard.
After the announcement, Cuban tweeted, "Time to get back to work. The Mavs are back open for business."
