Drunk Driver Slams Truck Into Home, Injuring An 8-Year-Old

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) — A man drove his truck into a Fort Worth home overnight Saturday, injuring an eight-year-old girl.

According to police 18-year-old Juan Verduzco , drove his blue Ram truck off the road in the 1900 block of North Riverside Drive and into the brick house around 3:15 a.m.

Debris from the impact of the crash fell on the young girl. She was taken to Cook Children's Medical Center, but was said not to be seriously hurt.

Police believe that Verduczco was driving while intoxicated and he is now in police custody.
