Drunk Man Drives Truck Into Arlington Restaurant
ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - A man lost control of his pickup truck, and crashed into the patio of an Arlington Buffalo Wild Wings on Collins Street. The restaurant was packed with patrons at the time of the incident.
The driver, 21-year-old Alexas Rios, was drunk and was arrested for DWI, police said. The incident happened around 11:00 Friday night, according to police.
Investigators said the truck hit another vehicle before continuing on the sidewalk. Several patrons who were eating on the patio were injured in the accident.
Several had minor injuries, but three needed to be treated at an area hospital.
