Drunk Driver Flees From Police - Driver Is 12-Years-Old

AUSTIN (AP) – Austin police are investigating a drunk driver who after fleeing an officer crashed into another car and then a pole. The driver was 12-years-old.
Police said that the boy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries following the incident and is not being identified because he's a juvenile.
An officer first spotted the car driving erratically and tried to pull the vehicle over, but the driver refused to stop. The boy then hit another vehicle, but kept going and then ran into the pole.
In addition to being investigating for driving while intoxicated, the boy is also being investigated for evading officers and failure to stop and render aid.
