Drone Wars At The Cavanaugh Flight Museum

KRLD -- The business of drones is rapidly becoming the next big thing. From Amazon delivery drones to search and rescue drones, they are coming.

"Maybe not in my lifetime, but in my kids lifetime there will be drones flying around...so as a museum we feel like we need to embrace this," said Scott Slocum of the Cavanaugh Flight Museum at Addison Airport.

Drone Wars are coming to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum on Saturday, April 4.

The museum will have two identical race courses set up for drone pilots inside a hanger and around the World War II war birds. Practice is at 9 am and racing starts at noon.
