Driver Who Caused Fiery Crash Fired (Video)
The NTTA driver who caused a major wreck last month is now looking for work.
It wasn't the NTTA's policies that failed, according to spokeswoman Sherita Coffelt, but the driver's failure to follow them.
Coffelt says the driver was cut from the payroll after an internal review ruled him at fault for the April 8th accident where an NTTA dump truck pulled in front of a big rig, resulting in a fireball and massive delays on the 121 Sam Rayburn Tollway near Lewisville. DPS agreed, ticketing the driver of that dump truck for causing the wreck.
