Driver Crashes Into Building During Argument With Girlfriend
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- A man is in custody after crashing his car into a building in the Buckner Terrace area of East Dallas early Friday morning.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. at a building at the corner of Lawnview Avenue and Hunnicut Road. According to police, the driver and his girlfriend were having an argument, and he began driving at a high rate of speed.
The girlfriend then called police to say the man was threatening to kill both of them.
The driver then crashed his car into the building, jumped out and fled. He was soon located by a police dog and taken into custody.
The woman had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The man was taken to the hospital to be treated, but is expected to recover and will eventually be transferred to the Dallas County Jail.
