DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – The Dallas Police Department showed their thanks with cookies for Parkland Memorial Hospital and Baylor University Medical Center medical staff who worked side-by-side with officers the night of the deadly police ambush on July 7, 2016.
That night, the two groups helped each other through one of the most difficult nights in Dallas Police Department history.
As a token of appreciation, members of the Crime Scene Unit presented the hospital staff in the Trauma Units and Emergency Departments of both hospitals with homemade cookies and signed certificates.
