DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Gunshots are fired during a brazen robbery at a Dallas convenience store and today police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects.
Surveillance video captured the two men robbing Kilo's Grocery, at 4213 S. Lamar Street, on April 18.
The men walked around inside the store for a while before the robbery.
One suspect, wearing black shorts, a black button up shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, even went outside and returned with a gun drawn. That man pointed the gun at the cashier as he jumped over the counter.
The second suspect, wearing a green polo shirt with dark jeans, also pulled out a gun and points it at the worker.
The suspects began demanding money and after the worker opened two cash registers began grabbing money out of them. In the process, another store employee, who was outside, looks in the store. The suspect wearing black shorts fired at the employee, shattering the glass door in the process.
After the initial gunfire, a third employee went to look in the store and the suspect wearing the green shirt opened fire in his direction.
The employee who was shot at first only suffered minor injures from shattered glass. The other employee was shot in the left leg. Their injuries aren't life threatening.
The suspects took an undetermined amount of money and left in an unknown vehicle.
The suspects are also believed to have robbed two other convenience stores in January.
