DPD Hoping Tattoos Can Help Identify Homicide Victim

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the victim of a homicide in the 3600 block of Jeffries Street on Monday, October 5 around 5:00 a.m.

Police say a man with a gunshot wound was found inside a burning vehicle.

DPD released images show the tattoos from the victim's body and gold mouth piece the victim wore.

Anyone with information regarding this offense is asked to contact Detective Shinn with the Dallas Police Department's Homicide Unit at 214-671-3650.

If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 214-373-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5000.00 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment for the individual(s) responsible. If you have information about this crime, please call 214-373-TIPS, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
